LAHORE: A woman has approached the district and sessions court, seeking a case against her own parents for forcing her to run a brothel.
Petitioner Sakina Bibi has submitted that she tied the knot with Mujahid of her freewill a few months ago.
Her parents were unhappy with her marriage and now wanted her to get a divorce from her and start a prostitution business with them.

The plaintiff said her parents were also giving her death threats and tortured her whenever she refused them.
She requested the court to direct the Sherakot SHO not to harass her and her husband because she was happy with her spouse. She also asked the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR against her parents for threatening her with death.
