Dance music duo Krewella 'denied' Indian visa over 'Pakistani heritage'

Duo had earlier performed in India twice

Electronic music dance duo Krewella will be giving  India's Sunburn Festival a miss following the rejection of their visa applications.

Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf claimed on social media that they had been refused visas owing to their Pakistani heritage.



The sisters said they were crestfallen. They said their team had tried extremely hard to obtain the visas in vain.

The duo wished for better Pakistan-India relations. The duo earlier performed in India twice in 2014.
