Late-night raid: Five militants killed in DG Khan

DERA GHAZI KHAN: The counter terrorism department in Multan killed at least five suspected terrorists and arrested four others and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunitions from their possession. In an intelligence-based operation conducted in the Sakhi Sarwar area, CTD raided a house occupied by suspected militants linked to Dai’sh. CTD spokesperson stated that the department acted after receiving reliable information and raided the area late on Saturday night. The officials recovered four rifles, two 9mm pistols and several bullets. Autopsy of the five militants was carried out at a local hospital after which the bodies were handed back to the CTD personnel.
