Gen Bajwa, on his first visit to the metropolis since assuming command as the COAS, visited Corps and Rangers headquarters in Karachi where he was briefed about the accomplishments in the operation and the way forward, said Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday.

Army chief vows to break terrorist-facilitator nexus at all costs
The army chief said all efforts will be made to consolidate gains made so far during the operations, saying remnants of terrorists and their sleeper cells will be eliminated indiscriminately.

Gen Bajwa observed that security in the metropolitan had direct bearing on overall business climate and economic activity of the entire country.

He commended Army, Rangers, law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies for noticeable improvement in the law and order situation of the metropolis. Gen Bajwa also appreciated the sacrifices of people of Karachi in this regard.
