Claiming that the presence of Indian troops at a large scale is a hurdle in implementation of the United Nations (UN) resolution, the FO spokesperson said Indian troops have been killing innocent people and violating basic human rights in IOK for the past four months.

Further, urging India to put an end to the bloodshed in IOK immediately, Zakaria demanded the UN to play its role for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue.

Humza | 7 years ago | Reply @Iqbal: Why not ask the people of occupied Indian Kashmir how they feel? When India needs so many people to suppress a people, what does that tell you. In Azad Kashmir, local people sign up to join the Pakistani military to defend themselves. Why not realize that a million Indian soldiers cannot suppress Kashmiris forever and just let them vote under a United Nations resolution as required?
