MULTAN: A book on thalassaemia patients ‘Allah Main Sabar Karongi’ (God I shall practise patience) was launched in Multan on Tuesday. The book was written by Azhar Mahmood Sheikh. The writer has elucidated the true stories of patients of thalassemia in which most of them are children. A large number of people from different walks of life participated in the book launching ceremony. While addressing the participants, Shakir Hussain Shakir said the National Book Foundation played a pivotal role in publishing the book. “The true stories of children suffering from thalassemia and other blood related diseases arouse a feeling of sympathy among the readers,” he added. Similarly, Nasir Mahmood Sheikh said, “The book is a great lesson for those who keep on complaining about their little problems. We should share the problems of our brothers and sisters living around us,” he said.
