MANSEHRA: A man who inflicted a sensitive injury onto his wife in a fit of anger has been sent to jail on judicial remand, police said on Thursday. Quoting S Bibi*, they said Ali inflicted the sensitive wound onto her when she implored him to change his mind about divorcing her. Due to the serious nature of the wound, Ali took her to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital in Mansehra. The doctors referred him to the Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad. Doctors who examined S Bibi made her disclose what happened and informed the police. Ali was subsequently arrested and charged under sections 324 and 201 of the penal code. He was produced before a judicial magistrate on Thursday.
