Rs5b scam: Non-bailable warrants issued for Sharjeel 

Judge Muhammad Saad Qureshi directed the investigation officer of NAB to arrest and produce the former minister

An accountability court on Wednesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants of 17 accused – including former Sindh information minister Sharjeel Memon – in a corruption case. The court ordered the authorities concerned to produce all the accused on 19th of this month.

The national accountability court-IV issued the non-bailable warrants in the Rs5 billion corruption scam. Judge Muhammad Saad Qureshi directed the investigation officer of NAB to arrest and produce the former minister and other accused in the court by next date of hearing.

Bop scam: Sheikh Haris’s bail plea rejected  

The court issued the warrants on a reference filed by the anti-graft watchdog regarding alleged illegal award of advertisements and misappropriation of provincial government’s funds.
