They were speaking at a seminar organised by the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on “Post-Strategic Trade Policy Framework” in collaboration with the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Ministry of Commerce.
All the participants gave suggestions for institutional strengthening and export development. They said those areas should be focused on priority which had the potential to boost exports.
The seminar was held to provide awareness of the initiatives taken in the Strategic Trade Policy Framework, educate the private sector about procedural requirements, eligibility criteria and other formalities for taking benefit of the incentives and get feedback from the private sector.
