Children’s park in Turbat

Letter September 02, 2016
A children’s park is the last place that should be made to have a dark and grim appearance

TURBAT: I recently visited a children’s park in Turbat and was surprised to see its condition, which demonstrated a total lack of management. The leaves on the trees were dead and I could not find a single flower, which one would expect in a park or garden. Most importantly, swings and other rides used by children were in dilapidated condition.

The park is in such a terrible condition that even children are reluctant to visit it.

Till a few years ago, it was kept in beautiful condition and many residents visited it regularly. Unfortunately, it has now been transformed completely and one sees heaps of garbage, giving the impression of the park being a ghost town. I request the government to provide funds and more facilities for the park. A children’s park is the last place that should be made to have a dark and grim appearance.
