This was stated by DIG Sukkur Capt (retd) Feroze Shah at a press conference in Mirpur Mathelo on Wednesday while appreciating the performance of Ghotki police.
Police have also recovered arms and ammunition from them, including three anti-aircraft guns, one rocket launcher, two heavy machine guns, 32 light machine guns and Kalashnikovs , 50 pistols and 5,000 bullets, he informed.
The DIG claimed that following successive operations, the katcha areas of northern Sindh have completely been cleared of criminals.
In the next phase, operations will be conducted in the katcha areas of Sukkur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Khairpur.
