Failure to launch: Locals slam govt, Wapda

TIMERGARA: Locals of Khal, Timergara have slammed the provincial government and Wapda officials for not beginning construction work on a power feeder even though it has been inaugurated thrice. Speaking to the media on Thursday, residents said the feeder was initially inaugurated by Adviser to Prime Minister Amir Muqam. It was later inaugurated by PML-N’s Malik Jehanzeb and, subsequently, by JI’s Sahibzada Tariqullah. According to locals, Rs200 million and Rs8 million were allocated for the construction of the project. Material was also provided.
