New trailer of J K Rowling's 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' reveals magical creatures

The new trailer of The Harry Potter prequel debuted at the San Diego Comic-Con

The new trailer of The Harry Potter prequel, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, debuted at the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, revealing some of the magical creatures that will feature in the film.

Written by J K Rowling and directed by David Yates, the trilogy stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Ron Perlman and Jon Voight.

As the trailer unfolds, we witness a number of magical beasts move swiftly across the screen, leaving us in awe.

We see small insects called Billywigs, whose sting can lead to levitation. We are also introduced to the Occamy; a creature that resembles an eagle.

The hairy Demiguise, who turns invisible in dangerous situations and flying beasts named Thunderbirds are also seen in the epic trailer.

The story revolves around a Magizoologist named Newt Scamander, played by Eddie who owns a suitcase full of magical beasts. Predictably, the beasts escape, throwing the magical world into disarray.

Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them is slated to release on November 18.
