Induction: New chairperson of Ogra appointed

ISLAMABAD: Uzma Adil Khan has been appointed as Chairperson, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra). She took the charge on Monday. She brings over 30 years of diversified experience to Ogra. Her previous assignment was Managing Director of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and before that as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In a statement, it has been said that the new chairperson will be the first female head of a development-oriented regulatory authority. “Uzma Adil Khan, new Chairperson Ogra, has joined with a vision to strengthen the Authority as a pro-public service regulator,” the Ogra spokesperson said.
