Busted: Over Rs10m seized at Torkham  

TORKHAM: Over Rs10 million in Afghan currency was seized from a truck on Pak-Afghan border in Torkham on Thursday. An official of the political administration in Khyber Agency told The Express Tribune a search operation was carried out at Pak-Afghan border by khasadar personnel when they flagged down a cement truck. The officials seized more than Rs10 million. He added, “Hikmat Khan, the driver of the truck and his accomplice Rahimullah were arrested by khasadar personnel.”  He said the accused were shifted to Landikotal police station for interrogation.
