One of these, Mirza Munawar Ali Baig alHaris Mansoor Aman Gesudaraz - buried just next to Edhi - remained Edhi’s guest for three days, from April 12, 1989, till April 15, 1989 - the day Mirzadied.
‘Because the ambulance is more Muslim than you’
According to the incharge of the Edhi Village, Muhammad Bilal Edhi, Abdul Sattar’s watchful eyes appreciated Mirza’s religious personality and, to acknowledge that, he directed that a shrine be made at his grave. Around 25 years back, Edhi declared he wished to be buried next to him.
Another mystic, Miskeen Turk Baba, lies adjacent to Gesudaraz, according to Dr Muhammad Noor Aman, one of the senior volunteers of Edhi. He died on January 15, 1998. Muhammad Noor said that Miskeen was admitted to the Edhi Village’s old house.
