BAHAWALPUR: The district administration of Bahawalpur unveiled the newly-restored Fawara Chowk over Eid.

MPA Baligur Rehman inaugurated the Fawara Chowk and the lights at the Eid Gah. DCO Ehtisham Anwar Mehar and Assistant Commissioner Rao Tasleem were also present.

“Fawara Chowk has been restored. Lights have been installed in the area and the Eid Gah fountain has been made functional,” the DCO told newsmen after the inauguration ceremony.

He said the Eid Gah park had been handed over to the Parks and Horticulture Authority. “The PHA will oversee the maintenance of the park. Soon, citizens will enjoy new plantations and recreation spots in the park.”
