ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Islamabad Sajid Kiani has ordered disciplinary action against Station House Officers (SHOs) of Bani Gala and Sihala police stations over their poor performance.

According to details, the SSP earlier tasked SHOs to ensure arrest of proclaimed absconders in their respective areas.

He reviewed their performance in this regard in a meeting at Rescue 15 and also expressed his reservations over performance of SHO Bani Gala
Inspector Chaudhary Muhammad Aslam and Sihala police station Inspector Kifayat Ullah.

He ordered disciplinary action against them for performing poorly.

However, he hailed performance of 12 police officials including SHO Margallah Asjad Mehmood, SHO Karachi Company Mubarak Ali and SHO Secretariat Hakim Niazi. He also announced to award them cash and commendation certificates over their performance and forward their names to IGP Islamabad for special award.
