FC, militants clash in Mohmand

Schools, offices re-open as curfew lifted in Bajaur Agency.

PESHAWAR: At least three security personnel and 15 militants were killed in a clash in Mohmand Agency on Wednesday.

Up to 40 militants, armed with guns and rockets, stormed the paramilitary Frontier Corps post in Anargi town in Bazai area of the agency.

Four security personnel also sustained injuries in the attack while several militants were injured in the counter-attack.

Meanwhile, schools and offices re-opened as curfew was lifted in Bajaur Agency. Security forces increased patrolling and checked vehicles at checkposts as people resumed their daily activities.
