ISLAMABAD:

A man who is said to be an official of the National Accountability Bureau and who was booked on fraud charges got bail-before-arrest from a sessions court on Thursday. Sabzi Mandi police had booked Imran Farooq and Abdur Raheem, the NAB official, for allegedly depriving a man of his car after renting it in September last year. Sabzi Mandi police registered an FIR against the two suspects on September 10, 2015. Muhammad Aziz Khan, the complainant, said that when he and the police officials contacted Raheem, he first claimed to own the car but later threatened him. “He told me that he worked at NAB and could lodge multiple FIRs against me,” Khan said.
