Police encounter: Three TTP ‘militants’ killed

KARACHI: Three suspected militants were killed on Friday during an alleged encounter with the police in Sohrab Goth. The encounter took place when District Malir police started an overnight search operation in the area. Malir SSP Rao Anwar claimed that the suspects belonged to the banned militant outfit, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and were involved in attacks on and killing of security forces. He also claimed to have seized arms and ammunitions from them.
