Connectivity issues: Officials stress on repairing roads  

he underlined the importance of road connectivity for the speedy movement of import and export material

FAISALABAD: Divisional Commissioner Moman Agha has stressed the need for immediate repair of dilapidated roads specifically in industrial areas to ensure safe and speedy movements of  import and export consignments.

During his visit to Faisalabad Garments City in Value Addition City near Khurrianwala along with Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) President Chaudhary Muhammad Nawaz, he underlined the importance of road connectivity for the speedy movement of import and export material.

Nawaz said that the approximately 2km portion of Khurrianwala-Chak-Jhumra bypass near Faisalabad Garment City is in bad shape for the past many years.

Jaranwala-Khurrianwala bypass and roads linking Khurrianwala with Sahianwala via Sadaqat Mills are also deteriorating.
