Troublesome message: Scuffle at private school creates panic

PESHAWAR:  

A scuffle between the family of a female student and a schoolteacher created panic in the city on Monday. Police said the schoolteacher sent a message to a girl from his mobile phone. When the girl received the text message, she immediately told her father and brothers about it. The enraged family members rushed to the institute and fought with the teacher. “The staffers and other students probably mistook it as a militant attack. They panicked, sparking rumours across the city of an attack at a private school, which was not the case,” a police official told The Express Tribune.  “Everything is under control and it was just a rumour.”
