Balochistan violence: Policeman gunned down in Quetta

QUETTA: A police sub-inspector, Mukhtihar Mulgani, was gunned down in the Sur pull area of Sabzal Road of Quetta. The deceased sub inspector was on his way to duty when unknown assailants ambushed him. Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri has condemned the incident and called the authorities to take swift action against the killers. No group has come forward to claim responsibility. Meanwhile, two people were gunned down in another incident in the Naseerabad area of Balochistan on Wednesday. According to police, armed persons barged into a house and opened indiscriminate fire with automatic weapons killing Jan Mohammad and Ali Gul on the spot. The culprits escaped unchallenged.
