First time in history: Two shooters given Olympic wild cards

“Navy’s best player Ghulam Mustafa Bashir is currently in Qatar on a Navy deputation, we are trying to bring him back for the Championship so that he could take part as he needs to practice for Rio Olympics,” secretary National Rifle Association of Pakistan Javed Shamshad Lodhi told The Express Tribune.

The events include all categories of men, women and juniors, who will compete in the seven-day championship which will conclude on May 27.
