FAISALABAD:
A rally was held in support of the Punjab Protection of Women from Violence Bill on Wednesday. MPA Dr Najma Afzal led the rally. A large number of women participated in the rally. The participants walked from the office of Faisalabad Waste Management Company (FWMC) to District Council Chowk. They carried banners and posters with messages in support of the law. Afzal urged women to seek modern education and play a role in socioeconomic development of the country.
