Leak fallout: PML-N delegation to meet JI chief

During the meeting, Saad Rafiq said PML-N had decided that Panama Leaks should be investigated thoroughly

LAHORE: As part of the efforts to control the Panama Leaks fall out, the Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq on Sunday met Jamaat-i-Islami Secretary General Liaqat Baloch at the latter’s residence. Saad Rafiq told Baloch that a PML-N delegation comprised of federal ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Pervaiz Rashid and Khawaja Saad Rafiq would meet JI Ameer Sirajul Haq. During the meeting, Saad Rafiq said PML-N had decided that Panama Leaks should be investigated thoroughly. He said he would meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to discuss the suggestions given by the JI leader regarding joint session of leaders of the political parties in the parliament to decide unanimous terms of references for the judicial commission that will probe the matter of Panama Papers.
