Wall of Tolerance

After the tragic Gulshan-e-Iqbal park incident, the Wall of Tolerance is an initiative taken by a group of young Lahoris to fight the extremist mindset through art. The group painted messages of peace on the walls of Gulshan-e-Iqbal park, in order to counter the growing negativity through some positive art —  and  make Lahore a little brighter after the tragedy. We are extremely proud of these young painters and applaud them in their efforts to spread a message of peace.

AlKaram Digital Lawn Collection

It’s been raining lawn fabrics this season and we have managed to shortlist some of our favourites. One of them is AlKaram’s digital lawn collection —  titled “Summer Fantasy”. Not only is the material perfect for the heat, but we love the vibrant colours along with the fun abstract floral prints. Visit the nearest AlKaram flagship store to check it out.

Pakistan Calling

There has been a recent rise in the art of filmmaking in Pakistan, so the Pakistan Calling Film Festival is an effort to unite and provide an opportunity to independent filmmakers to display their talent. It’s a two-day festival in Karachi that will showcase works from all genres of film —  from fiction to animation, held in tandem with workshops.
