Fresh postings: New FIA chief appointed

The PM also approved the posting of Yasmeen Masood

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday appointed a new Director General to head the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). According to a press release Mohammad Amlish, a PSP Grade 21 officer presently working as DG Police Bureau, has been appointed as the new DG FIA.


Meanwhile, the prime minister also approved a number of transfers and postings of BS-21 officers. The services of Kamaluddin Teepu a PSP-21 officer have been placed at the disposal of the National Counter Terrorism Authority. Teepu Mahabat Khan a BS-21 officer has been posted as Additional Secretary Inter Provincial Coordination Division, Amir Tariq Zaman (BS-21) has been posted as Additional Secretary Cabinet Division while Aurangzeb Haque (BS-21) has been posted as Additional Secretary Establishment Division.

The PM also approved the posting of Yasmeen Masood (BS-21) as Additional Secretary Communications Division and Dr Hammad Uwais Agha (BS-21) as Additional Secretary Revenue Division.
