Khan said he had also written to the NAB DG and asked him to provide evidence against him
LAHORE:
Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan on Monday said that any evidence about his alleged corruption should be brought forth. He was talking to the media outside the Punjab Assembly. “I was not questioned in the aftermath of the Punjab Youth Festival by the National Accountability Bureau. The Federal Investigation Agency has also given me a clean chit,” he said. Khan said he had also written to the NAB DG and asked him to provide evidence against him. “Due to the media trial, my credibility has been affected,” he said. He said that he was considering taking legal action against those maligning him. “I want to hold them accountable too,” he said. Later, Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that there should be no harassment in the name of accountability. “Unless an announcement is made by NAB itself, reports should not be taken seriously.
