A better tomorrow: Rangers and citizens walk for peace

Apart from the Rangers officials, many people including women and children participated in the walk

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, organised a peace walk, titled 'Peaceful Karachi Walk,' on Sunday. The participants carried placards with slogan 'Rangers and citizens are together' written on them as they marched towards the Numaish Chowrangi from the VIP Gate of the Quaid-e-Azam mausoleum. They also shouted slogans 'Pak Fauj Zindabad [Long Live Pakistan Army] and 'Rangers Zindabad [Long Live Rangers]'."General Raheel Sharif has played a vital role in restoring peace in the country," said cricket legend Javed Miandad on the occasion. "Rangers have played an important role in bringing peace to the city." Rangers senior official said that it is basically a message to show that peace has returned to Karachi. Apart from the Rangers officials, many people including women and children participated in the walk.
