Quetta Gladiators have a good chance to win PSL: Luke Wright

The 30-year-old promised fans that his team will deliver exciting performances in the tournament

DUBAI: The England all-rounder, Luke Wright, who will feature for Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) said that his team has good chances of winning the upcoming tournament.

In an interview with The Express Tribune, Wright said that he was eager to join the Quetta-based team and is hopeful for their success in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The 30-year-old promised fans that his team will deliver exciting performances in the tournament. He further added that it is important to get a good start in T20 competitions and Quetta Gladiators will try their best to win.

Additionally, the 2010 World T20 winner commended the passion for cricket among players and fans alike in Pakistan.

Responding to a question regarding international selection, Wright said that he does not regret not being selected for the England cricket team in recent years. He added that he has been performing well for past three-four years in T20 tournaments across the globe, but the rest is up to English selectors.

The all-rounder also said that winning the World T20 with England was the highlight of his career.
