An Indian Air Force jet 'accidentally' dropped 5 live bombs over Gugdi in Barmer, Rajasthan on Tuesday.

Reports suggested the bombs accidentally slipped out of the jet which was on a routine sortie over the area.

Though explosions were heard across the region, there were no casualties reported.

This incident comes at a time when India was celebrating its 67th Republic Day. Thousands gathered in New Delhi amid tight security for the annual parade, a pomp-filled spectacle.

An investigation is underway into the episode, said Indian media.

Then it has major other interests like real estate ventures, indulging in political activism, international affairs etc while Indian army is focussed only on warfare.

Soulspeek | 8 years ago | Reply Please check again with your news source. A Su-30 jet was scrambled to intercept an unidentified balloon like object. Jet fired on it with gun. The parts found on ground were shells and the loud noise was due to sonic boom of the jet.

Our own government says it is because we can't match them with our conventional forces so we need nukes. Now we have created battlefield "tactical" nukes to use against their conventional forces for the same reason.
