KARACHI:

Haleem Adil Sheikh, the former president of Pakistan Muslim League - Quaid (PML-Q), Sindh, has announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Sheikh, who has also served as adviser to CM Sindh, announced his resignation from PML-Q two months ago. While talking to The Express Tribune, Sheikh said that he had no issues with his former party and he still has good relations with the Chaudhary brothers (the heads of PML-Q). "I had resigned from PML-Q in a graceful manner," said Sheikh. He further added that since his former party being a platform for the politics had been unpopular, so he needed a strong platform to work for the less privileged of the Sindh province.

He admitted that after his resignation from the PML-Q, Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party also contacted him to join them but he refused.
