LAHORE: The National College of Arts held its 13th convocation on Saturday. Degrees were awarded to graduates from the 2010 and the 2011 batches. Writer Intezar Hussain and Punjab University Vice Chancellor Mujahid Kamran were the chief guests. Prof Ijazul Hasan, Architect Nayyar Ali Dada and former principal Saleema Hashmi were also present at the occasion. Speaking at the ceremony, Hussain said the city of Lahore had always been a centre of arts and culture. The NCA’s role in this regard was noteworthy, he said. Hussain said NCA students and faculty members had worked diligently to promote a soft image of the country abroad.
