FAISALABAD: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education announced the results of Intermediate (Part-1, Part-2 and composite) Supplementary Examinations 2015 on Tuesday, (January 12, 2016).

The results were announced by BISE Chairman Ghulam Muhammad Jhaggar at a ceremony held at the Faisalabad BISE office.

He said 21,387 candidates had appeared in the intermediate supplementary exams. Of them, 6,979 were declared successful and the pass percentage was 32.63.

Examinations Controller Muhammad Zafar Iqbal Tahir said the results had also been uploaded to the board’s website www.bisefsd.edu.pk where candidates could download their results.

He said result cards had been dispatched to candidates but they could also get their results by sending their roll numbers to 800240 in a text message.

Literary competitions

The Faisalabad BISE has announced a schedule of literary competitions for college students in the Faisalabad division.

BISE Spokesperson Muhammad Mehboob Iqbal said on Tuesday that literary competitions for female students will be held between January 25 and February 3 and competitions for male students will begin on February 6 and will continue till February 16. He said competitions for the female students will be held at the Government Postgraduate Islamia College for Women on Eid Gah Road, Faisalabad, the Government Degree College for Women in Karkhana Bazaar, Faisalabad, and the Punjab College for Women on Jaranwala Road, Faisalabad.

The competitions for male students will be organised at the Government Islamia College on Sargodha Road, Faisalabad, the Punjab College on Jaranwala Road, Faisalabad, Jinnah College on Pensara Road in Gojra, Toba Tek Singh district, and the Government Postgraduate College in Jhang.

The literary competitions will be held twice every day. The first half will commence at 9am and the second shift will start at 1pm. He said for more information, please call 041-2517221.
