Trailer out: Will Mawra Hocane's 'Sanam Teri Kasam' live up to its hype?

The official trailer for Mawra Hocane's debut Bollywood film, Sanam Teri Kasam, is out and it has left us in awe.

Showcasing different avatars, Mawra portrays the role of a girl who 'no one wants to love' whereas Harshvardhan Rane plays the role of a guy who 'doesn't want to love anyone'.

The two meet in an unexpected manner when Harshvardhan is stripping in an elevator where Mawra is standing in a bear costume.

What ensues is a rare friendship that turns into love. But as it appears, fate prevents them from uniting and the last few seconds of the trailer show Mawra and Harshvardhan both in deadly situations -- a love story sealed with a curse, as the poster states.

ashis | 8 years ago | Reply I dont care about the movie, but the lead actor Harshvardhan is too hot to handle, will give a tough competition to the rest, and the music Arijit,Himesh,Ankit the deadly combo, if i would die without listening to this album my soul'll never get salvation, mawra is looking more beautiful with Indian dressing. A complete package.

They respect themselves as well as their decent families accept them and love their work and thats all that matters. What you think doesn't matter. Period. nisha | 8 years ago | Reply OK, this girl is the first actor from Pakistan who has it in her to make it big in bollywood. All other Pakistani actors who are otherwise good actors are either too inhibited like Fawad , Mahira (so can't dance or play all kinds of characters fearing backlash in their traditional Pakistani fanbase) or are all uninhibited but can't act like Meera, Veena etc.. Mawra seems to be the riht combo..

I want to watch more movies like Haider, Gangs of Weeseypur, Satya, No smoking, Kahani........something not falling in typical romantic and family masala genre bollywood is plagued with. And special note to Ekta Kapoor......Please!!!....I beg you please!!!! stop making saas bahu serials..... nowhere in world does a bahu sleep in embroidery saree with tons of golds and hair well done and wake up the same way following morning.......grrr!!!!!

Asad | 8 years ago | Reply Why cant these women have some respect for themselves or their country.The likes of Mawra hocane and humaima malick belong to decent families yet they choose to do semi-nude and love-making scenes across the border.I'll probably be attracting a bunch of crazy pseudo liberals but i have to say this. I'm sorry but If a woman cant respect herself ,please don't expect the 'typical' pakistani man to respect her.
