KARACHI:
Old and faulty buses plying on the roads of Karachi are a major cause of accidents, leading to tragic loss of lives. The death of a newly graduated lawyer, Arz Muhammad Luhur, is a case in point. The motorcycle the poor boy was riding was hit by a worn-out bus from the back, causing his death. Most of such tragic accidents on the busy roads of Karachi involve these dilapidated buses. The drivers of such buses are reckless too. In a frenzy to pick more and more passengers, they tend to violate traffic rules, endangering the lives of other road users. The Sindh government needs to take immediate action and ban such unsafe buses from plying on the roads.
