LOS ANGELES: Hollywood actress Sofia Vergara's custom-made wedding dress was made by 32 people in 1,657 hours.

The Modern Family actress worked closely with designer Zuhair Murad on the gown she wore to marry Joe Manganiello in Palm Beach, Florida on November 22 and the stunning design required 32 people to work around the clock to complete it on time, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Can you guess which Hollywood actor took his dog to a film premiere?

The 43-year-old had previously said she wanted to look "sexy" and the designer hoped his white, strapless, silk-tulle creation, which had a sweetheart neckline, hand-embroidered 3D embellishments, detachable skirt and pearl beaded belt, did just that by showing off her "famous curves".

"I was delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with Sofia on her dream wedding gown.

"I wanted Sofia to look phenomenal on her wedding day, showing off her hourglass physique and enhancing her famous curves. She expressly said that she wanted to look sexy, so I created a design that blended soft sensuality from the transparencies of tulle with the ornate glamour of ornamented embroideries and mini pearls,” Murad told People.com.

The gown was made even more eye-catching thanks to the addition of pearls and sequins in the intricate bead work, and Vergara teamed the dress with 55 carat diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz, as well as more gems by the same designer in her hair and on her wrist.

Sofia and Joe married in front of over 400 friends and family members at the Venetian ballroom at The Breakers Hotel.
