Provincial affairs: Malik says external forces interfering in Balochistan

Separately, the FC conducted a search operation in Nahar-Kot area of Barkhan, where militants opened fire. During the exchange of fire, one suspect was injured and arrested along with four others.

According to FC, arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of those arrested.

Earlier on Saturday, Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch blamed ‘hostile powers’ of interfering in provincial affairs with an aim to ‘cause instability in the region.’

He said he was making efforts to bring the militants and hardliners to the negotiating table.
