CM Baloch vows to stamp out terrorism

Says provincial government is committed to healthcare, education for every child in the province

Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has said that the provincial government will defeat the menace of terrorism in Balochistan with the help of local people.


“Civil and military leaderships are jointly fighting terrorism and it will be rooted out from our soil,” CM Baloch said while addressing the closing ceremony of Winter Sport Gala here in Ayoub Stadium on Tuesday.

Core Commander Quetta Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Amir Riaz, Sports Minister Mujeeb ur Rehman Muhammad Hassani and other officials attended the ceremony.

“The law and order has comparatively improved from the last few years and we are pursuing a policy for durable peace in the region,” he added. He said his government focused on education and healthcare in Balochistan and will continue the struggle until every child in the province is educated.

Addressing the closing ceremony Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Amir Riaz said the successful Winter Sports Gala depicts a positive image of Balochistan.

Balochistan CM to stay on for remaining term

“A prosperous Pakistan is lined with a prosperous Balochistan.  Our soldiers have been sacrificing their lives to bring peace to this region. We will continue their struggle,” Lieutenant General Amir Riaz added.

Citing the CPEC he said with its completion Pakistan will emerge as new power of the region. “I urge students and the youth of the province to focus on their education so they can contribute to develop Balochistan,” the Corps Commander said.
