LAHORE: Justice Mamoon Rashid Sheikh of Lahore High Court on Thursday declined to hear a petition filed by Aitchison College (AC) Principal Agha Ghazanfar. Ghazanfar told the court that the school’s board of governors (BoGs) had failed to honour the settlement which had allowed him to dwell in the principal’s residence and use the perks and privileges he was entitled too. He said he was being ridiculed and his powers had not been restored. Ghazanfar said he had requested proceedings in an open court. Advocate Azhar Siddique, the counsel for the AC BoGs said the court had previously held in-camera proceedings on the request of the petitioner. Citing personal reasons, the judge declined to hear the petition and sent it to the chief justice to have it fixed before another bench.
