KARACHI:

Former Pakistan skipper Younus Khan has been named to lead a revamped United Bank Limited (UBL) cricket team in next month’s Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

“Yes, Younus has joined UBL and will lead the team in the premier first-class event of the country,” said head of UBL Sports Department Nadeem Khan while announcing an 18-member squad on Tuesday.

Nadeem said that over a dozen new players have been inducted in the team to make it a formidable unit — including the likes of Shan Masood, Sharjeel Khan, Hammad Azam, Wahab Riaz, Sohaib Maqsood and Ehsan Adil — and added that a two-day bonding camp of the team will be held at the Arabian Sea Country Club from Wednesday.
