HAROONABAD:
A man shot his sister dead on court premises in Haroonabad on Monday. She was killed for ‘honour’. Shabana*, 26, a resident of Chak 22-III-R, had eloped with Pervaiz a month ago.
Shabana had been married already and had had two children with her husband. Her family had filed a kidnapping case against Pervaiz. Police brought Shabana back from Karachi and presented her in court. Shabana refused to return to her husband and the court then directed her to be sent to a shelter home. After the proceedings, her brother Ali shot and killed her. Police took Ali into custody and took the body to the THQ hospital for post-mortem examination.
