Crashes: 10 killed in traffic accidents

The bodies of the deceased were handed over to heirs after the completion of medico-legal formalities

Ten people died and 28 others were injured in separate road accidents in the Khairpur district during the Eidul Azha holidays.


According to reports, 10 motorcycles collided near Ubhan Shah Dargah on Sorah Road in the jurisdiction of the Sorah police. As a result, three persons, Suhail Phulpoto, 17,  Saeed Phulpoto, 18, of village Danwaro Phulpoto, and Zafar Janwari of village Sadoro Janwari, died on the spot while three others, Roshan Janwari, Saeed Janwari and Hubdar Phulpoto, were injured.


The injured were taken to Civil hospital, Khairpur while the bodies of the deceased were handed over to heirs after the completion of medico-legal formalities.


In another incident, a fast moving coach coming to Sukkur from Karachi collided with a motorcycle on the National Highway at Hingorja. As a result three people, Altaf Koree, Fayyaz Mallah and Ameer Ali Mallah, died on the spot while one, Zeeshan Mallah, was injured and admitted in the Higorja hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
