Minister of State for Education and Professional Training Baleeghur Rehman has called for innovation in agriculture sector to boost productivity.


While talking to Head Counselor at the EU delegation to Pakistan Bernard Francois, First Secretary at the German Embassy Anita Almut Knop and attach at the Italian Embassy Domenico Bruzzone, who called on him here on Friday, the minister said that education ministry will devise a policy with the consultation of other ministries and with the help of donors to introduce technical education in the agriculture sector.

“Being an agricultural country, we have best fruit and vegetables, but we lack expertise and resources to preserve and market them within Pakistan and abroad,” he said.
