DJ Shah Munir to represent Pakistan at World DJ Championship

Artist says he is honoured to be the first guest from Pakistan at the event

Pakistani DJ Shah Munir is set to represent Pakistan at the sixth annual finale of Red Bull Thre3style World DJ Championship kicking off from September 15 in Tokyo, Japan.

The five-day event will feature DJs from 17 different countries battling for the title of the world's champion. According to a press release, although Shah won't be participating in the competition, he is the first ever Pakistani to be invited to the event. He will be attending the finals of the most awaited competition in the world.

"I’m honoured to represent Pakistan at such a prestigious event," he said.

"I look forward to meeting the participants, renowned DJs and learn more about the event that has captivated DJs across globe," he added.

Shah has performed across the globe at prestigious venues including Oak and Provocateur in New York City, Miami and London. He has also performed alongside Will.I.Am, Pharrell Williams, AVICII, Calvin Harris and Busta Rhymes among many other big names.

Shah's corporate clients include some of the big fashion names such as Vogue, Armani and Cartier.
