Most runs: Mukhtar Ahmed breaks Pakistan's domestic T20 record

Right-hand batsman hit 18 boundaries and three sixes to score 123 runs off just 67 balls

Pakistan right-hand opener, Mukhtar Ahmed, played a blistering innings on Tuesday as he scored the highest T20 score in country's domestic tournament.

In the Cool and Cool Haier Mobile T-20 Cup Group A match, Mukhtar hit 18 boundaries and three sixes to score 123 runs off just 67 balls.



The previous record for the highest score in the domestic T20 tournament was held by Imran Farhat who scored 115 runs.

Mukhtar and the other opener Nauman Anwar (51) led their team, Sialkot Region, to a total of 198 runs for the loss of five wickets after winning the toss against Karachi Region Whites (KRW).

While chasing, KRW managed to get to 191-6 riding on the back of Ahsan Ali's 76-run innings and lost the match by seven runs.
