Amidst all the criticism and bashing Kabir Khan received for his recent release Phantom, the director received some love from none other than Bollywood megastar Salman Khan.

Salman gifted a self-made painting to the Bajrangi Bhaijaan director.

Awed by the sweet gesture, Kabir took to twitter to share Salman's love and uploaded a picture of the painting with a heartwarming caption:

Salman Khan had posted a similar painting on Twitter in June. The actor called the portrait Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is still running in cinemas along with Kabir Khan’s Phantom. The Salman Khan-starrer continues to make money at the box office even a month after its release.

Salman and Kabir have previously worked together in Ek Tha Tiger.

Despite receiving negative response for one of his movies, Kabir is happy to see both his films running in theatres at the same time.

Phantom, which stars Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif, released on Friday and has been subject of much controversy.
