Being a law-abiding citizen and a voter of PPP, I appreciate the actions of law-enforcement agencies
ISLAMABAD: Recently, Sindh’s political climate saw some rapid changes following the arrest of Dr Asim Hussain. This is an alarming situation for the PPP as investigations into alleged corruption, nepotism and lawlessness come closer to nabbing the party’s top brass. The PPP is now once again trying to take advantage of the so-called ‘Sindh card’. PPP leaders have started raising a hue and cry against the detention of the party’s members.
Sindh has been dragged to this level due to widespread corruption. Being a law-abiding citizen and a voter of PPP, I appreciate the actions of law-enforcement agencies. It is time the people of Sindh stood with the authorities. This investigation should be spread into rural Sindh. Moreover, I would request the PPP leaders to remain calm and face the investigations with confidence if they are innocent.
